The location was pretty awesome, really close to the riverwalk. The rooms are really big and the view was very nice. The hotel was great over all.

The only thing I didnt like was the parking it was across the hotel, but it looked safe.

      Went to Sea World, Riverwalk.

Didn't like that check in is at 4 pm I got to the hotel at 8pm and didn't have a room to check I'm to because the room was not cleaned yet. The room wasn't even a superior room, it was just a double beds. The next day after a long day I got back to a room that had no clean towels, trash was not thrown away. The day to check out the fire alarm went off. We had to get all of our belongings with our kids and go down the stairs. When we got to the lobby I found out it was a false alarm.

Having two bathrooms, the luxurious bedding, and the people who worked there.

Mattress was too soft and the room seemed to warm-up dramatically sometime after midnight.

The way I was treated by the entire hotel staff

room with queen bed was small but still nice

The entrance / lobby to the hotel is very majestic and impressive. You almost feel like you are in a European Castle.

Unfortunately we had a few bad experiences. My first thought was that the room that was advertised "Superior Queen Room" and the accompanying photograph did not match the room we were given. Secondly the room was not well maintained. On the Saturday the bed broke and the matter was not delt with by the hotel. After much talking we were moved to another room at 10.30 that night. Again, i found the room not well maintained or cleaned. The hotel did offer us a complimentary breakfast in light of the problems. At breakfast, the fruit that i ate from the buffet was off. We left soon after. All in all, not a nice experience from the hotel.

It's historic and old, the lobby is stunning. With a wide hallway and a high ceiling, it's one of a kind. Loved the old(and working) mail chute on each floor.

The posted bed was gorgeous but was ridiculously high. It was comfortable once lying on it, but I had to climb up and down every time I grabbed something. I'm 5'6'' and I wished I had a step ladder. Water pressure on the shower was very very low.

I came in for a quick weekend trip and found out that a jazz festival was going on across the street. What a great experience. Also around the bar you had some of the jazz bands come and perform. I loved it. I was able to sit at the bar and have a few drinks and listen to some great music. Plus the surrounding were so beautiful with the furniture around the bar. What a wonderful experience I had in the hotel. The beds in the room were so comfortable, I was able to have a sleep that I don't normally get. Over all, a great experience that I will make sure of repeating and coming to stay again.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff was so helpful in guiding me around the city. Maybe having a brunch on Sunday would top it off, I would really have enjoyed that.

      Saw San Antonia

High beds, small 'heritage' bathrooms, only 1 chair in the room, iron(dodgy) +board was handy. Pleasant staff

Location and friendliness of staff. I used room service twice and the food wasn't bad at all. Loved the old world decor and feel of the hotel

Noisy. Could hear everything in the room next door, including the guy blowing his nose and belching with alarming regularity. I had to listen to him having a conversation with his wife then had to listend to both of them talk to all three of their grandchildren. The bathroom was very, very small and that is from someone who is under 5'5" and under 130lbs. There was no room in the bathroom to put my toiletries other than a small glass shelf over the sink, luckily my toilet bag hangs up. My bed was incredibly noisy, it squeaked and groaned with every tiny little bit of movement I made - oh and so did the one in the room next to me. I will not be using the hotel again for these reasons.

      Nothing,

The room was very noisy, dirty and small. The Valet service took 30 minutes to deliver my car after I had phone them 20 minutes before I was down there. The ally behind the hotel stunk, had homeless and was scary.

The hotel itself is very historic with awesome antiquities.

Four senior adults.... Good beds... It was so good to find two baths in the room with two queen beds. Within walking distance to all we wanted to see. We used the "Hop -on. Hop-off Tram for the Missions. That was great. Thanks to Joe. We will certainly suggest this hotel to all our friends and family. Thanks for a great two nights. This will be our first choice next trip to SA.

Can not think of a thing...... We enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful hotel, accommodating staff, comfortable rooms.

The hotel maids walked in on us after we had checked in, and they woke us up in the morning when they knocked on the door at 9 am, suprised to see we were still there.

Great location, loved the historic building. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Our room was right by the elevator, which was very noisy with people coming in and out. Should have asked to be moved.
